I/Groundwork

Strip foundation in reinforced concrete following the design office instructions.

II/ Structural Work

Ground floor made of 13 cm reinforced concrete slab – Shear and peripheral wall of 16 cm reinforced concrete. First floor solid slab made of 20 cm of reinforced concrete.

III/ Carpentry – Roofing

The post and beam construction system is used for the first and second floor – The roof structure is made of large purlins (30 cm x 30 cm) and rafters – Vapour barrier layer – Heat Insulation – Watertightness Layer – Wooden Shingles called « Tavaillons » – Overall Sarking system.

IV/ High performance thermal insulation

Ground slab sandwiched between 2 layers of 50 millimeters of foams panels of polyurethane – Buried wall insulation made of 100 millimeters of foams panels of polyurethane (styrodur) – External insulation of the concrete wall made of 160 millimeters of expanded polystyrene – Insulation of the 1st and 2nd floor wall made of 200 millimeters of stone wool – Roof insulation made of 260 millimeters of compacted stone wool – Garage wall insulation made of 145 millimeters of stone wool – Garage roof insulation made of 80 millimeters of polyurethane foam.

V/ Millwork and double glass

External doors and windows made of 68 millimeters red pine – Anti break double pane insulated glass with argon gas to improve energy efficiency– Interior door made of larch – Outside balcony, floor and window shutters made of larch – Built-in washbasin in the bathroom.

VIII/ Heating, Hot Water Heating, Controlled Mechanical Ventilation System

Underfloor electrical heating system – Hot Water Electric heater (2 x 300 liters) – Double Flow Controlled Mechanical Ventilation System (DATEC) coupled with a thermodynamic system (heat pumps) – The air intake is connected to a ground-coupled heat exchanger. The system also redistributes the heat of the chimney.
